"Empowering Young Engineering Professionals to be Change Agents for a Better Tomorrow"

Senior Innovation Engineer

Are you a civil, structural, restoration, or forensic engineer going about their day to day thinking "π“π‘πžπ«πž 𝐑𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 π›πž 𝐚 π›πžπππžπ« 𝐰𝐚𝐲"?

Me too.

In June 2017, fresh out of college, I was handed my first assignmentβ€”a roof inspection.

I was also handed a clipboard, a few 11x17 plans, and a pen.

I followed my principal engineer around the roof, as he was furiously scribbling his findings.

The end result was an illegible amalgamation of markings and shorthand that only he seemed to understand.

Transforming it into an end deliverable for our client required a lot of tedious work on my behalf in the weeks following.

I could not believe that this was the business process for inspection employed at an industry leading firm - and as I later found out - the industry as a whole.

That experience set me on my current path, which focuses on innovation in structural restoration.

Today, I:

-Apply technology to the inspection and repair of our clients' 200+ parking garages across the United States. I've helped double the company's revenue over the past three years.

-Host a 75+ episode podcast on applications of tech in our field where I learn from likeminded professionals.

-Serve as an advisor to technology companies in our industry.
